San Diego Photographer Heather Fuqua specializes in fine art, documentary, travel and event photography. She believes that her vision is the way she sees the world. It is the light she notices cascading down a deteriorating wall, highlighting the texture. It is the expression she captures of a child walking in their own world. It is choosing to blur one part of the photo in order to highlight something else.
The most important element in her photography is her vision. It is what she offers her clients and she guarantees you, her vision is unique. She is constantly learning and pushing herself to try new things. Because of this her photography is never stagnant or cliché. It is fresh because she is constantly looking and seeing. Seeing is a way of life.

2008 was a busy year for San Diego Photographer, Heather Fuqua. She traveled to Michigan, Phoenix, Sacramento and even Honduras to photograph events. She took with her a heart ready to speak Spanish and learn from the locals. Heather is always ready for a new adventure.

Heather Fuqua Gains a Prestigious Honor from ASMP San Diego
The American Society of Media Photographers in San Diego has over 125 members. Every month, they host contests for their members and members vote to choose the best images. At the end of the year, a Photographer of the Year and runner-up are chosen. This year Heather Fuqua announces she won the prestigious honor of Photographer of the Year Runner-Up.
